Living with a Scorpio man is one of the ups, down, turns and twists. If your Sun is ruled by an Air sign (you are a Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius), then you can expect fun and excitement coupled with heated debates.
If it’s ruled by an Earth sign (Capricorn, Virgo or Taurus), plan to be watched carefully and questioned often about your intentions and whereabouts all while enjoying great sex.
Water sign people (Scorpio, Cancer, or Pisces) enjoy all of the emotional waves that come with living with a Scorpio man and these relationships feel very natural.
However, the disagreements can feel like lightning storms. Leos, Sagittarians, and Aries people (Fire signs) feel the electricity that comes from the Scorpio and the sparks are reciprocated.
When Scorpio sees that the Fire sign cannot be controlled, trouble can creep in if the communication is not consistent.
1. He Needs to Know Where You Are
Living with a Scorpio man may be challenging. The controlling nature of some Scorpios is something that will be present all through the partnership if you are used to being extremely independent.
You will notice how he will need to know where you are at all times and how he will strategically find ways to remind you that you behaved in a way that is “out of bounds” for him, hence, playing the Scorpio mind game.
These conversations may come off light and fun, but he’s truly feeling this way inside. For other Scorpio men, they may have plans for you as a couple, leaving little room for you to make up your own plans with him in the present.
Other Scorpios relax and trust that their partner has the best of intentions and they won’t watch their every move. Keep in mind, every Scorpio is different; however, certain traits are common and weigh differently in every relationship.
2. He Usually Lives a Minimalist LifeStyle
These guys like to keep things very simple. Their bachelor pad usually looks like one that is bare bones with the basic essentials. Even if he has purchased huge a beautiful home for himself (many do), he has all of the basic needs and doesn’t pay too much the small details.
He likes convenience and easy living. He generally likes light earth tone colors – shades of blue, shades of brown and greens.
When you enter the picture, he should be open to you sprucing up the place. He will also welcome your eye for design as long as it does not infringe upon his need for convenience.
Keep in mind that while he’s open to your finishing touches, he’s not going to let run the home. He is still the Scorpion King of his domain. He decides when lights are out and when the TV is on.
3. He Can Be Jealous
Most astrologers will tell you that Scorpios are jealous by nature. While this can be true, you’ll want to remember that not all relationships with them are the same.
Overall, you can see this trait magnified in many ways. If you do the following, you may see it come out:
- If you don’t check in.
- If you invite strangers (your friends he doesn’t know) over with no heads-up.
- If you stay out past the time you said you’d be back home.
- If you carry on long conversations with another man (regardless of the type of relationship outside of relatives) on the phone.
- If you don’t engage in conversation with him. Staying too quite. *This will arouse suspicion and eventually you’ll see a jealous Scorpio.
4. You Need to Enjoy Affection
When you get in the graces of the Scorpio man, life will be full of play fighting and affection. If you get annoyed easily by this, this may be a struggle for you, especially because they can get pretty aggressive in this area. You have to be fun loving and passionate but not overly serious.
Also, you should be somewhat predictable and consistent since he likes to know who he’s coming home to. You should initiate affectionate advances toward him.
He loves someone who showers him with hugs, kisses and love notes since he can be romantic. Anything that is going to lead you two back to the bedroom will be welcomed by him.
5. He Will Run the Home
Even though you may decorate the place, this man runs his home. Even if you are the breadwinner (he would prefer to be the lead here, but in some cases, this applies), he is in control of the surroundings and what goes on there.
You can find him relaxing on the couch playing a video game or fixing some gadget when you come home from a long day’s work. While he’s doing that, he’s telling you what the plans are for the evening. Their schedule is planned out the week before and you are usually included in them.
